Continuation of the cooperation between the Academy of Fine Arts in Karlsruhe and the Opera Village

This year, we were able to successfully continue our cooperation with the Academy of Fine Arts in Karlsruhe and invite the students Hannah-Rachel Acceturo and Emma Rumpf for a scholarship stay at the Opera Village. During their time there, the two artists developed impressive works, which they subsequently presented at the Goethe Institute in Ouagadougou.

This collaboration enables students from the Karlsruhe State Academy of Fine Arts to spend several weeks abroad at the Opera Village. The students are invited to use the Opera Village as a living and working space to further develop their artistic skills and gain new cultural experiences. In return, students from Burkina Faso and Ghana are invited to the State Academy of Fine Arts Karlsruhe for a semester abroad. The annual exchange program once again turns the Opera Village into a transnational cultural meeting and experimental site for artists. This international collaboration not only promotes cultural exchange, but also strengthens artistic networks and creates unique opportunities for creative growth and intercultural understanding.
