Alphabethisation at the Opera Village

We are very happy to announce that our team in Burkina Faso has managed to organise an alphabetisation course despite the unfavourable circumstances! As of this month, over 40 adults are coming together at the opera village up to four times a week to learn Mòoré, the main language of the region.

The country has one of the lowest literacy rates in the world at just over 40%, which is why we are particularly pleased to be able to make a small contribution to improving the circumstances with this offer.
