Reframed within the urban context of Cologne, the exhibition opens up a space to engage with global entanglements, postcolonial continuities, and questions of local visibility. Photographs, video works, installations, performances, and conversations invite visitors to explore urban memory, resistance, and transcultural artistic practices from multiple perspectives. The discussion <em data-start=\"819\" data-end=\"841\">Echoes of the Unseen<\/em> places a central question at the heart of the event:<br data-start=\"894\" data-end=\"897\" \/><br \/>\n<strong data-start=\"897\" data-end=\"977\">How can artistic practice help us hear what has been overlooked or silenced? <\/strong>In conversation with <strong>Prof. donna Kukama<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"1022\" data-end=\"1038\">Abrie Fourie<\/strong>, and <strong data-start=\"1044\" data-end=\"1065\">Akinbode Akinbiyi<\/strong>, moderated by <strong data-start=\"1080\" data-end=\"1095\">Sam Hopkins<\/strong> (KHM Cologne), the event explores the sonic landscapes of cities, photography as archive and political gesture, and the unresolved visions of revolutionary movements\u2014particularly in relation to the legacy of <strong data-start=\"1304\" data-end=\"1322\">Thomas Sankara<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1325\" data-end=\"1590\"><em data-start=\"1325\" data-end=\"1347\">Echoes of the Unseen<\/em> is an invitation to listen\u2014beyond the obvious, beyond the surface of the visible.
