He captured special moments with staff members, pupils, and teachers. In April 2025, Orson returned to Burkina Faso with a selection of the photographs he had taken. During a presentation at the Opera Village, he showcased the images on a large screen. For the children, it was an exciting and joyful moment: they commented on the pictures with laughter and enthusiasm, recognized themselves and their friends, and shared their impressions with one another. These images are not only a way to remember meaningful moments from everyday school life \u2014 they also help strengthen the children\u2019s sense of self.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"768\" height=\"512\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-17763\" src=\"https:\/\/www.operndorf-afrika.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/\/img_8073-768x512.jpg\" alt=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.operndorf-afrika.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/img_8073-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.operndorf-afrika.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/img_8073-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.operndorf-afrika.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/img_8073-420x280.jpg 420w, https:\/\/www.operndorf-afrika.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/img_8073.jpg 1000w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 768px) 100vw, 768px\" \/> Seeing themselves in a different context \u2014 being noticed and made visible \u2014 can help children become more aware of their role in school and community life. The photo presentation offered them a new perspective on their daily environment and enabled them to see it with fresh eyes.
